Decorate for fall with this Rose Gold Leaf Trinket Dish. Painted with DecoArt’s Rose Gold Metallic Lustre, this trinket dish is great for holding jewelry, office supplies and more!
Hello there! Can y’all believe it’s September? I sure can’t but I am super excited because that means fall is right around the corner. I love all things fall and this Rose Gold Leaf Trinket Dish will be making an appearance in my home decor. Generally, I love all the bright oranges, yellows and reds for fall, but this year I am going with a more natural and neutral theme. I am seeing a trend of metallics this fall and DecoArt’s Rose Gold Metallic Lustre has the perfect touch of elegance and shimmer for decorating this year.
I took a few pictures of what the trinket dish could be used for. I love the idea of a jewelry dish for holding my small everyday items like rings and stud earrings. But I also like to use it for small office supplies like paperclips and pushpins. I haven’t quite decided what I will end up using it for. I just know that this rose gold leaf trinket dish is very pretty and I love it!

Metallic Lustre is a water-based, non-toxic, no mess, metallic wax that buffs to a brilliant shine. I applied a thin layer of the metallic lustre to the metal leaf trinket dish using a small paint brush. I dipped my paint brush in water first, then into the metallic lustre. This step thins the lustre making it easier to apply and is totally optional.
You can also apply metallic lustre with a rag. I just thought that using a brush for this application was a bit easier, especially for getting inside the deep grooves.
